About Bunker Birdie

Golf made approachable, never less meaningful.

We built Bunker Birdie for the gap nobody was filling in Coeur d'Alene: a place that takes golf seriously without taking itself seriously. The bays are precise enough for a player working on ball flight. The room is relaxed enough for someone holding a club for the first time this decade.

  • Polished, not precious. Golf-forward design, warm service, zero gatekeeping.

  • Built for repeat visits. Leagues, memberships, and standing weekly bookings — not a one-time novelty.

  • One room, many moods. Family afternoon, league night, corporate buyout — the venue shifts without losing its character.

How it actually works

Compete

The week has a scorecard now.

Leagues are where Bunker Birdie stops being a place you visit and becomes a place you belong to. Handicaps keep it fair, so a low-single-digit player and someone six months into the game can sit at the same table afterward and both have something to argue about.

  • Solo or paired. Sign up with a partner or let us place you.

  • All levels. Competitive at the top, genuinely welcoming at the bottom.

  • Same night, every week. One standing reason to get out of the house.

Private & corporate

Your name on the whole room.

A buyout gives you the bays, the lounge, and the run of the clubhouse. It reads as polished when you need to impress a client, and loose when it's your team letting off steam after a quarter.

Corporate & client nights

Golf is the icebreaker that works on everyone — including the people who don't play. Bays keep groups moving and conversation easy.

Celebrations

Birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, anniversaries, team wins. Bring the group; we'll handle the flow of the evening.

Watch parties & big nights

Screens, seating, and a room that already feels like an occasion. Ask us about full-venue availability for your date.

First time here

Three people, one clubhouse.

"I hadn't swung a club in years. Nobody made me feel like that was a problem — and by the third session I was booking my own bay."

The returning beginner

"We come as a family. The kids get a shorter session on easier settings, and it still feels like a night out for the adults."

The family visit

"The bays are dialed in enough that I use them to work on ball flight through the winter. That's the part I didn't expect."

The serious golfer

Three very different people, the same room. That's the whole idea.

Before you book

Reasonable questions.

Do I need to be good at golf?

No. A meaningful share of the people here are learning, returning after years off, or just along for the evening. The bays adjust to make the game playable for everyone in your group, and staff will get you set up without a lecture.

Can I bring kids?

Yes — families are a core part of who uses the clubhouse. Shorter sessions and easier settings make it work for younger players, and the room is built so a family can be a family without feeling out of place.

Is this a bar?

No. Drinks and social nights are part of the experience, but they aren't the identity. Bunker Birdie is a golf clubhouse first — the atmosphere stays comfortable for a family afternoon and a league night alike.

Do I need to bring clubs?

Plenty of guests arrive empty-handed and plenty bring their own bag. If you'd like to confirm what's available for your session, call or email us before you book and we'll tell you exactly what to expect.

How do I reserve, and what does it cost?

Reservations run through our booking pages: Book Now for a bay, Memberships to join, Ticketing for leagues and events, and Private Buyouts for the full venue. Current pricing and availability are shown there.

Can you host my company's event?

Yes. Private buyouts are designed for exactly that — corporate nights, client entertaining, team celebrations. Start with the Private Buyouts page or email us and we'll talk through your date and group size.

The best swing of your winter is indoors.

Pick a time, bring whoever you like, and see whether this becomes your regular Thursday. Most people find out on the first visit.
